Sheet A-011 Project Data - Building Code Summary: Please confirm that only I-4 daycare is use and no E use. I-4 is custodial care children and infants under 2 1/2. E use is children over 2 1/2 needing only personal care. The big difference is corridors require 72" width (Table 1020.2) for E use over 100. You have some corridors that may need to be enlarged

UPDATED REVIEW COMMENT 9/2/2020: The first level (infants, etc.) would be considered custodial care and use group I-4. Section 308.6 notes occupied by more than five person of any age who receive "custodial care". If the children who are over 2-1/2 years old are in custodial care, then it would I-4 use group. For more than five children over 2-1/2 years old receiving "personal care services", the facility is E use group. The difference between I-4 and E for children over 2-1/2 year old is I-4 = custodial care, and E= personal care services. If claiming all I-4 facility, then confirm all children are under custodial care and not personal care.
If upper levels are E use group, 72" corridors are required, and these occupants discharge at exits on first level. 72" corridors are required.
